Alice Tye is a London-based illustrator with a one-of-a-kind style. Influenced by film, photography and American culture, her paintings of the American landscape seem to close the gap between reality and myth.

The first five images is a series of paintings depicting La Jolla Road in Palm Springs, California made after visiting the area in the spring of 2015. A response to Alice's previous project La Jolla Road where she painted every house on La Jolla Road from Google Street View images.

The following images is a series of paintings called USA IRL, based on a two month trip around the USA. Her focus for the new project "is on the less polished side of Los Angeles (and also Vegas and Palm Springs) and more on the things that make it seem real and maybe a bit ugly" says Alice on AnOther Magazine.
